Hello good afternoon.

In RDNG v5.0.2, when creating a new Baseline for a RDNG Project Area, we could select the date of creation (could be different than the current date). The "create Baseline"pop-up was showing "Date" as one input filed, just as the Baseline name.

In RDNG v6 (using 6.0.3 now), I can't find this option any more.

Has this option be removed in v6 or is it available somewhere?

Thank you!

Noel,

starting with 6.0.x DNG got a "real" configuration management (cp. the CM FAQ).
As part of this the baselines of 5.x get migrated into actual baseline objects which by definition get the time stamp of its creation: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_6.0.4/com.ibm.rational.rrm.help.doc/topics/c_snapshots.html

This timestamp is immutable.

Thank for your answer Arne.

Actually the possibility of creating Baselines with a date in the past is very useful for scenarios such as recovering the status of the artefacts for a Project in a specific date and time. If we can reverse the Project only to already taken Baselines, we are removing the nice capability we had in version 5 of recovering the version at any moment in the past.

How can this be reached from version 6?
