Jazz Eclipse client is not visible in Rational Functional Te

Aaron,
I am not sure why the RFT scanner is not detecting the platform, but I
believe you should be able to add the location manually. In your
example, you would click the "Add..." button and select
'/opt/IBM/TeamConcert/client/eclipse'.

The Enabler for Rational Functional Tester supports testing against
Eclipse 3.3 but the scanner for RFT can only detect the SCMTools and the
Build Engine. The Eclipse client cannot be detected. Is there a trick to
get RFT to work against Jazz?

RFT looks for the .eclipseproduct marker file when searching for shells. From the Eclipse help doc "How to write an Eclipse installer:"
"<install>/eclipse/.eclipseproduct is used to mark a directory into which an Eclipse-based product has been installed, primarily for extension installers to locate."
buildengine, repotools, and scmtools all have .eclipseproduct files, but the client has a .TeamConcertproduct file. jazz.net and WI searches return nothing on these files. Maybe this was done to hide Team Concert from third-party installers for the time being.
Manually adding the client, as James suggested, works for me.
