How to link two requirements in an artifact

Hello,
Could you please tell me how can I make a link between two requirements in an artifact ?
I have uploaded a word document that contains 4  requirements, I want to link the first one to the last.
When I select the first one, and I trying to make a link they forced me to make a link with a an other artifact !

Assuming you refer to DOORs Next?
Which version are you running? How did you import the requirements (i.e. what requirements types, what process template)? How are you trying to make the links?
