How will the state of children work item be changed automatically when the state of the parent work item is changed in Plans ?

Hi All,

In Plans, I wanted the state of the children (Task) work item to be changed automatically from S1 to S2 when the state of parent (Activity) work item is changed from S1 to S2.I wanted to know if this is possible in Plans and if so how.

Please share your thoughts.

There is no such automation. It would be possible to create automation (but independent from plans).
