RTC Rich hover feature on Web UI

Hello,

I was pasting various links on a workitem and noticed that you can show information when you hover on a work item link.
However when you hover on an external link for example https://jazz.net, it says [More information is not available] and screen is not shown.
The behavior is only seen on Web UI and Eclipse client shows the brief link information.

Do you think the behavior on Web UI is expected?
Is there any to disable rich hover feature?

Rich hover shows on more than just web links ( e.g. on rows in a query result,  dashboard widgets ).  IMO having enabled a the expense of a few things present in work items show the behavior is a reasonable trade-off.
