Excel importer - is it possible to link test case to development item in RTC while upload from Excel to RQM?

 Hi,

we upload test cases to RQM via the Excel importer tool.
I would like to link a development item to each test case -
link a defect to test case.
is it possible to do?
can send the cgf and Excel example?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Rachel,

As on date, no option to link RTC development / workitems to QM artifacts during import is available.

This topic was open with the product management and they have opined the following approach is feasible instead of using the excel import.
RTC supports importing defects via CSV: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/rtc/v2r0m0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.team.workitem.doc%2Ftopics%2Ft_importing_work_items_csv_file.html However, I'd recommend running tests directly out of the RQM web UI where you can create or link defects directly in the web UI.

Here are the documents on this topic for your reference...

Best Regards
Sunil
