NFR / Free version of RTC for solution developers
Hi,
Does anyone know if IBM offer a license suitable for consultants/developers to create products/services that would integrate with RTC? It's something I'd like to explore further but as a one man band it would be overkill to be paying for an RTC license when it's only something I need for integration testing purposes.

FORUM ADMINISTRATOR / FORUM MODERATOR / JAZZ DEVELOPER RTC has always made a free license for 10 developers available. This is a full developer license that works with the SDK etc. and should be way enough to get started. The limitations apply to stuff that you would likely not look at as a small team either.

If the product integrating with RTC uses a service RTC provides, this would then require a license for RTC (Use the 10 Free for development, Test). If you deploy such a tool at a customer, the customer would need to purchase the RTC licenses they and the integration requires. You would likely have you own added license fee for your tool. This is how this is done with other partners.
