How to Populate new Iterations in Planned For field?

Prasad Mandre (2521014) | asked Feb 13 '13, 3:39 a.m.

Hi,

I want to populate fields in Planned for field. I am not able to see new iterations which I have added are reflecting in drop down box of Planned for field.

Anyone know how to make it visible? I have created 2 sub categories

e.g. Project

           Testing

                  Cycle 1

                  Cycle 2   etc

I can only see Testing in Planned For field. I want to Populate Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 also.

Regards,

Prasad

Please go through: https://jazz.net/library/article/589 . To see the iterations, you have to check the 'A release is planned for this iteration' check box. The Article above talks about this and several other things you need to know about the fundamental mechanism around work items.

Hi Prasad,

great! I would still recommend to read the article to avoid to run into similar situations. I found that a lot of users are not really aware of the relationships of the concepts in the beginning and waste a lot of time to get the required understanding. It was certainly that way for me.
