Hi Krunal,

sorry for the Plan functions, there is no build-in customization available
as for the work item, means you can not add an approval tab to the existing plan tabs.

workaround, possible you can use the different snapshots for this scenario, depending which process template you are using.

The plans inside RTC are real time plans, means the changes on the workitems effect directly the real workitems,
not as in a offline planning tool where you sync the (agreed/approved)  planned date to the real envronment.
for this case you can use the MS project import export feature.

ciao
Robert

Hi Robert I am using Formal Process template, I can use snap shot but still that will help me only in comparing and mapping changes in plan.

The RTC approval process is for work items only. There is no approval process for plans and you can not add such a tab.

Please also note that a plan is just a work item query and thus the plan is not static. It changes as work items change (and time progresses). So it is questionable what an approval would mean.

 Hi Ralph,

Can we achieve this using Customize process template.?

I think there is very few room of misinterpretation in my answer. So again

No, there is no way to have approvals on plans in RTC as of all the versions we have today. As explained by me and Robert approvals don't make sense for plans in RTC either, as you can not freeze a plan. This is not MS Project where a plan is a file. As Robert explains, you can use snapshots to capture a certain state.

If you want to use approvals, you have to use work items.
