RDNG 6.0.3 Artifact templates wont appear in drop-down list menu of artifact creation

Hello

We used to create artifact templates and use them as case initiation forms. In Doors NG 6.0.3 we cannot retrieve the list of the artifact templates when creating a new artifact/module. Interestingly enough, artifact types created on previous Doors NG version have no problem displaying templates!

All suggestions are highly appreciated

Hi,

We recently discovered a defect which affects Artifact Template retrieval in RDNG environments upgraded to 6.0.3. Please see Artifact templates missing after upgrade to 6.0.3 (113273). Can you verify if your Artifact Template data shows up as expected under Manage Project Properties -> Templates -> Artifact Templates? If not, I would suspect that you are encountering the side-effects of defect 113273. This defect has been addressed in 6.0.3 iFix004, which I believe is due to be released this week, so once you are able to adopt this iFix your problem should be resolved. However, please let me know if this is not the case!

Hello Mike, Old artifact templates are lost and I had to recreate them but this is not the highest priority for me. The problem now is that the users can no longer use the templates while creating artifacts (when artifact type was created on Doors NG 6.0.3). Thanks again

 Strange, I'm not able to reproduce this same behavior in my 6.0.3 environment ... Are you sure that the Artifact Type and Artifact Format from the template matches the Type and Format you are selecting in the Artifact creation dialog?

Sorry I couldn't be more help. I think I would still suggest that you adopt 6.0.3 iFix004 once it is publicly available, and if that still doesn't help then it may be worth it to contact IBM Support.
