[DNG] How to add extended properties via the OSLC RM Api

JOSE MARIA ALVAREZ (2614) | asked Feb 27 '17, 4:03 a.m.

 Dear all:

We have developed an OSLC RM client to consume requirements coming from IBM DNG. We have also found that a OSLC requirement resource comes with a good number of extended properties (URI and value). Our intention was to create a new extended property and save (under own URI) a particular value. Although we are able to add a new extended property and the update of the OSLC resource returns a 200 code, our extended property is not saved in the server. So here is my question:

Is it possible to store your own extended properties via the OSLC API?

(if possible)

Is it possible to display it in the GUI?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,

What exactly is the extended property?

Whatever it is, it has to be in the "type system" for RDNG to recognize it, retrieve it and update it. If you open the Project Properties page of a RDNG project, and you cannot see the "extended property" there, all you have been doing is simply wasted.
