My admin account is not updating in RTC.

Hi All,
RTC - 6.0.1.0 iFix2a
WAS 8.5.0.2
SQL Server 2008
We have a LDAP server and our IT department forced the change of our Admin pw, This
change should have been propagated by the Sync function within RTC.

I   can log onto the physical server with the new PW (validating the network ldap was updated), but I cannot get into the WAS console or RTC.

I had them change the password back to the old one temporarily and I was able to gain access to everything. Any thoughts as to what is happening?

How can I force WAS or JTS to pick up the new LDAP credentials?

If the Password for an account is managed in LDAP the change will be immediate. The LDAP Sync does nothing with the password. it only brings in new users or changes to the name or e-mail.

The WAS Console uses a password that is stored in WAS as far as I can tell. You will have to check if the admin account is managed in WAS and change the password there or use the old one for WAS Concole or your Admin account.
