If I have a user who has accidentally closed a work item, is there any way that the work item can be reset to a prior state ?

Hi,

one way I could think about would be to extend the workflow to have a re-open action.
You could then ose the action to get the work item out of the closed state. In RTC 2.0 you could even restrict the users allowed to do that.

As a temporary workaround, you could also change the type of the work item
to a type with another workflow and back. This will reset the workflow.
