How do I set up approvals as read only once they are "Rejected"?

I want to be able to configure the RTC in a way that the user that is part of an "Approval", once the user rejects or approves it can not be able no modify the status of that "Approval"?

Can it be done?

There is nothing built in. It would likely be possible with a custom Java Server Extension (precondition).
