Setting work enviroment in RTC 2.0

Milan Krivic (98013176143) | asked Aug 31 '09, 4:56 a.m.
Hi,

When I change for user work enviroment, for example: time zone - Europe/Zagreb, Regional Settings - Croatia, when working with work items, I always get Serbia in description with mail notification...
Serbia was default setting, but when I change it to Croatia and Save, I get Serbia again?

Why?

Is there any other way to configure time zone and regional settings in Jazz instead of user editor?

JAZZ DEVELOPER
Milan,
I am working on your PMR and we reproduced the problem.
It comes from the (ICU - International Components for Unicode) Jar
The problem is fixed in a later version of ICU and I am working with the developer to find if we have a workaround for the version 3.8.1 that ships with RTC server or if we need to deliver a patch.

Hi Milan,

did you found a workaround for your problem? And mine too :-)

I have the same issue like you do.

We are now in the testing stage for RTC3.0iFix1 and email notifications still not working like they should work.

Hi Tomislav,

Which environment do you use? Which server, tomcat or Webpshere?
Please,
take a look at this work item:

https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=95100

Here is described how to set it for tomcat or websphere...if you need help, feel free to ask...

regards,

Thanks Milan, it is working now.
I add -Dcom.ibm.team.workitem.longDateFormat=true to server startup script. We are using Tomcat as an application server.

It is not perfect (it is GMT+02:00 and not Croatia) but it is better than it was before.

Again thanks,
Tomislav
