Is it possible to increase the picture quality in pdf reports?

We have in same artifacts very big pictures (as *.png) which are strong compressed in the pdf report and if you try to zoom in nothing can be read.

In opposite to this in a word report the file type is still *.png and looks fine if I zoom in.

Is there anywhere a possibility to improve the quality of the images in pdf reports?

If those "big pictures" are in a Word document and get imported into RDNG, then they are already compressed during the import. Are you sure the pictures are still in their full size in RDNG?
