Reports development team is using Cognos 11 Release 2.1. They want to use RTC 6.0.1 source control for Cognos files. I need to know if Cognos 10 or 11 can be integrated with Jazz Source Control. Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks
NP

Hello Narayanan,

the Cognos reports are stored in the content store database so it's not possible to version control them in RTC unless you manually export them to a text file every time.
The data model projects from Framework Manager are files on the file system so, as Geoffrey said, you can version control them. However Framework Manager doesn't offer any direct integration with RTC.

Any file in the file system can be placed under RTC source control.
If you are investigating there is an RTC integration for a particular Cognos editor or IDE, you'll probably need to look at the on-line help of that editor/IDE.
