DoorsNG v6.0.2 Restart > Slow Project Loading
Issue Description
We have an implementation of IBM Doors NG v6.0.2 (Fix005 Installed)
- Topology: 3x Server Topology
- Database Server: Microsoft SQL v2012
- # Modules: About 20 Modules (with an average of about 800 Artefacts per module)
After restarting the server, it tasks over 15 hours to reload the Project fully with all modules
Symptoms
Whilst the Project is loading, there are many errors as we try to browse modules
- Error: “A Connection to the server cannot be established, CRRRW7556E…”
- It takes a very long time (over 15 hours) before all modules in the projects are loaded and the project area usable
Query
What can be done to address this problem?
- Why is the whole content re-indexed after each restart?
- How can this be stabilised, so the project area can load faster?

Same problem here, no solution yet....
What do you mean when saying "whilest the project is loading"?
And where do you see all content is being reindexed after each server restart?
After server startup, and the first time each project is accessed, some content is being cached, so that can result in somewhat long response times, but not 15 hours.
I would file a problem report with IBM support to have this investigated.
