Older Work Items not displaying new custom attributes

David Fay (4164) | asked Aug 26 '09, 1:01 p.m.
Hopefully I'm not repeating someone else's question...

I created a work item for my project which work as expected. However, after the fact, I created a new custom attribute and saved the Editor Presentation for the project.

If I create a new work item, everything works as expected. But, my old work items will not show the custom attribute.

Did I do something wrong when I created the new attribute? Please ask questions if you need more information to help.

Thanks!

I have seen it once or twice ;)

I created a work item for my project which work as expected. However,
after the fact, I created a new custom attribute and saved the Editor
Presentation for the project.

If I create a new work item, everything works as expected. But, my
old work items will not show the custom attribute.

It is a known issue that there is no affordance on how to upgrade the
existing work items.
The necessary steps are documented in
