Hi ,
I would like to useResolution of workitems in a Report generation. But apart from LIVE_WI_CNT , I dont see a snapshot where I can find Resolution.
As in one of my report I need to use a combination of both State and Resolution of Workitem, is there a way to pull Resolution from any of the existing table?
Thanks,
Bharath

Hi Bharath,
Currently, you're correct, the only access to the resolution field is
through the live work items table (which means you can't do historical
reports on resolution). If you open an enhancement request in the
Reports component we can take a look at this for a future release.

James - I was a bit surprised to learn that this wasn't in. For example our need is to show how many defects are being resolved as deferred/won't fix/fixed each day/week to track resolution trends. Is this something that you haven't heard form others?
With 2.0 we now have the capability to have custom attributes in the workitem snapshot for reporting purposes. I guess the built in attributes are the ugly stepchidren :).

Hi Daniel,
While we do have support for this in the live case, we didn't add it in
the data warehouse yet. This is actually the first request I can recall
for it, but it's definitely something we'll look at in the 3.0 timeframe.
