Is it possible to change the "test data" that is assigned to a test script using either REST API/OSLC/... and check if test script can be used thereafter without further modification.?

The RQM REST API documentation can be found at - https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RqmApi. Look for "datapool" which belongs to Test Data in RQM.
Via OSLC, it may not be possible to change "test data" as the spec does not support this data type.
