Hi Team,

When iam trying to export the work items into spreed sheet (.csv) some text data is missing when it is downloaded to spreed sheet (.csv)

Is their any character constrain for exporting the work item into spreed sheet ?

Please elaborate what exactly is missing. Are you saying that a long string gets truncated?

Apologies for late reply!

Summary content and Description content was exported with loss of data.. this was a tool defect and we got a solution to export the Work item query with comma (Delimetri format) which will display all the data from summary and Description

No need to apologize. For the benefits of others reading this post, how did you export the work items that resulted in "loss of data" in the past?

Just created a query in Web interface and clicked on Download as a Spreadsheet(.csv) then noticed that data was missing in description
