How to push data from production server to staging server

Balamurugan Selvarasu (331430) | asked Jun 06 '16, 8:11 a.m.
 Dear All,

I would like know what are the possible ways available to push the production data to test server.

We are planning to upgrade from CLM 5.0.2 to CLM 6.0.2 with rational insight 1.1.1.7 . Before starting upgrade on production server we want to perform same in a staging server as suggested by IBM. What is the best way to push data from prod server to staging server.

It is distributed topology where JTS + CCM and DNG + RQM installed into a separate server. Rational Insight installed on a separate server with JRS.

However we do not want to use server rename process as it will degrade performance in staging server to some point.

Your quick response much appreciated.

I am not aware of any mechanism to support what you want to do.  the data in the database is hard connected to the public URI. and the relationships between data elements in the various tables are not publicly documented.
