Query for a string in the RFC Comments an/or Comments (Discussion) field.

We would like to query the RFC Comments and/or Comment field for a alph-numeric string. When I query on a RFC Work Item I see RFC Comments in the list conditions, but it's grayed out and not selectable.

When I select Comments as a condition the only option available to select is "Authored by".

Does anyone know how to search for a string in either of these fields?

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this topic.

You can use full text search to find text in some attributes, including the comments. See https://jazz.net/library/article/1007 and https://jazz.net/library/article/824 . As far as I can tell it is not possible to create a query that specifically looks at the comments text. The Text index is used for several attributes, including the attachments.

Thanks for the timely response, Ralph. It would be a nice-to-have if we could search for text in the Comments attribute, but this will work for now.
