is there any way we can change the color of the theme depending in which work item type that we are working on?

Out of the box, no.
You can do it in a "static" way using the theming feature, but it may not be easy. Here are some of the issues that we discussed in the past. https://jazz.net/forum/questions/214493/please-help-us-change-the-css-applying-to-the-wi-summary-field-text-box-and-label https://jazz.net/forum/questions/217370/issue-applying-css-to-webui-iframes What you request here is "dynamic", since the work item type is an attribute that gets loaded after the CSS and JavaScript files are loaded and you need to use JavaScript to change the style "on the fly".
