After upgrading jrs, 500 error is thrown

After upgrading jrs, in the jts diagnostics, we can see an exception which contains:
Error 500: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:

This error can occur if the path of the shared libraries have not been updated to point to the new version of jrs.
Go to Websphere adminConsole -> servers -> server types -> Enterprise servers -> (server hosting jrs) -> shared libraries
confirm the path for the jrs libraries is pointing to the new install.
