Plug in for JDeveloper

Leonel Perez (6) | asked Aug 06 '09, 7:39 p.m.
Hello,
Does RTC V2.0 come with a plug-in for the JDeveloper IDE?
We are planning to use the Oracle Suite 10gR3.
If not, Does anyone know if RTC has a plug in for the Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse 11g JPA Workbench product?

Thank you very much

A colleague pointed me to this unanswered question - apologies for the delay in someone getting back to you.

RTC does not come with a plugin for JDeveloper and I am not aware of any plans to create one. Please raise an enhancement request for this here on jazz.net.

re: Eclipse workbench - you need to check what version of Eclipse the Oracle product runs - if it is Eclipse 3.4 - you could install RTC as a plugin. If the Oracle product also uses the Team API in Eclipse - then RTC would (in theory) work. Lots of ifs and buts here (sorry).

Anthony, Thank you very much for your kind response.
Fortunately we were able to convince our customer to use the IBM suite for development and we are now implementing RTC using IBM development tools (Rational suite..).

Thank you very much anyway.
