Plain JAVA API - what version jre,jdk

Hi,

I have simply question, where i can check what version of jdk,jre i shoud use to compile my project using Plain Java Api.
Im not sure but version of jdk/jre is dependent on the version of RTC. I think correct?

A good hint is the version of Java that ships with the RTC version. I have used Java 1.5 in the past and now use Java 1.6 and it worked fine. I have seen issues with older versions that did not support generics.

Hi Robert,
I haven't seen an explicit description of what version of the JRE you should use. I use Java 6 and it works fine. If you haven't seen this, it may help you get started: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RTCSDK20_DevelopmentEnvironmentSetup.

Please use the JDK that ships with the server if you get issues with other JDK's.

I remember some time ago , when I was starting use JAVA plain api. Then i need change my JDK from 1.7 to 1.5 u22 and i don't remember how I knew that.

I would like to change the jdk from 1.5u22 to 1.7 but when I changed jdk I got the stream of errors:

My RTC 3.0.1.1 , I can not use jdk 1.7?
