Text formatting In Comments attribute won't work in 2.0 UI

We did osme extra text formatting in the RTC Comments attribute during our CQ2RTC migration and it diplay well under RTC 1.0.1.1 web UI:
====================
Request PROD00160163
========== ==========

State: Opened
Project: XMeta 8.1
Platform: <All> - issue is known to affect all platforms
History:

But failed in RTC 2.0 web UI:

====================
Request PROD00160163
====================

State: Opened
Project: XMeta 8.1
Platform: <All> - issue is known to affect all platforms
History:

What do we miss here, please advise.

To make it clear, under 2.0, we added is not working as we want, instead they show up with the text supposed to be highlighted in the Comments under Web UI:

====================
Request PROD00140315
====================

State: Opened
Project: XMeta 8.1.0.1
Platform: <All> - issue is known to affect all platforms
History:
