Unarchive team area?

Hi

I've archived a team area that I really wanted to keep or at least I'd like to create a new team with the same name.

We're on 2.0.0.2

Is there anything I can do?

Hi Thomas

Thanks for your reply, it is exactly the same problem :-)

I cannot get the trick to work though.
I tried adding '-Dcom.ibm.team.process.enableUnarchive=true' to eclipse.ini and 'com.ibm.team.process.enableUnarchive=true' to configuration/config.ini but neither seemed to make any difference.

What am I doing wrong?

I've upgraded my client to iFix5.

From Jean-Michels comment 12 i looks like it would work in 2.x.
Is there anything I can do to apply the fix?

Hi Anders,

you have to downoad the backported extension from the work item https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Foundation#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=60325 which is in this attachment https://jazz.net/jazz/service/com.ibm.team.workitem.common.internal.rest.IAttachmentRestService/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.Attachment/33975.
Then follow JM's install instruction on the work item to deploy and use it.

I'd remove the capability to archive from every role. As an administrator you can assign it to you again if needed.

Thanks,

Ralph

Hi Ralph,

Going back to 2.0.0.2 'plain' it got it to work :-)
I didnt manage to make it work with any of iFix3-5 though.

Thanks for your help
