The 6.0 jazz Build Engine fails to start on Linux

Donald Flinchum (11417) | asked Jan 12 '16, 6:32 p.m.
I am trying to instal the Jazz 6.0 toolkit build engine on a SuSe 9.x Linux system (installed on z platform), and the engine fails to start. Using the default jazz.properties jazz engine, and a default id, it does start. Here is the error with
csbld@LINUX260:~/jazz-6.0.0/buildsystem/buildengine/eclipse> ./jbe.sh -repository https://nsjazz.raleigh.ibm.com:8035/ccm/ -userId C-HF7K897@nomail.relay.ibm.com -pass xxxxxx
2016-01-12 16:48:43 [Jazz build engine] Running build loop...
2016-01-12 16:48:43 [Jazz build engine] Waiting for request...
2016-01-12 16:48:49 [Jazz build engine] CRRTC3521W: Warning: The build engine is either not in the repository, or it cannot be accessed by the following user: "C-HF7K897@nomail.relay.ibm.com". The ID of the build engine is "default".

I downloaded the jazz toolkit from:

https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/6.0?p=allDownloads

Any idea what could cause this?

When you say it "fails to start", what does it really mean?

The error message that you posted is all messed up, but I can still see JBE starts OK, but warns that the build engine ID is not accessible. Have you defined a build engine with such an ID in the repository?
