Queries around Database Setup for Rational Design Management

 Hi,

We are planning for the installation of Rational Design Management tool to be used along with our existing CLM 501 distributed enviornment (JTS, CCM, QM and RM ) running on separate server which uses SQL Server Database.

Currently we have the below  five database already configured to be used for the CLM application.
JTS, CCM, QM, RM and RDW

While going through the info center guide section  -Planning the installation of Design Management - https://jazz.net/help-dev/dm/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.rcam.install.doc%2Ftopics%2Ft_install_topology_overview.html

under section - Setting up an SQL Server database , we see the instructions

configure 3 additional databases for Design Management Server (DM), the data warehouse (DW) and Configuration Management Server (VVC)  <>   (DM, DW, and VVC)

My question here is - Understand that we need to create two Database for sure DM and VVC.

Apart from this do we need to create " DW "  database as we already have an existing "RDW "database used by CLM ?

Is this Database "DW" specific to be used by RDM only ?
