test connection hangs on setup user registry
Hi Jazz team,
I am having issue at the user registry page.I'm using websphere application server and RTC2.0. On Step 2: Configure Jazz Team Server to use an LDAP server to act as my user registry , after inputting the values the test connection just hangs.I do know LDAP is working as thats how I logged into the webgui.I'm using Websphere Aapplication server with rtc2.0.Yes the paramters for step 2 are correct as they are the same ones from another project.Yes, the configuration at WAS level has been done for the appserver instance its just at the webgui , it goes into infinite loop at the test connection tab click.Any ideas as to why the user registry just hangs on testing the conenction.Any help will be appreciated.Thanks.

- can you log on physically to the server (where the appserver is
installed) and does ldapsearch against the same server ?
The hang is strage, possible bjut very rare.
That is because we try to connect to the server directly and usually the
issue is a timeout or a connect without response.
