I am looking add members from Team area or Roles which we added in to our project area .

yes, but he doesn't want to maintain the list of users to add in a separate list.

he wants to have a single 'group' that all the users are in.

imagine the QA group getting notified when a workitem transitions to testing state.
today the QA group is 3 people, tomorrow 5.
