How to use email for workitem updates

George Penfold (1111) | asked Nov 11 '15, 9:28 a.m.
 Hello

I've just taken over the role of RTC administrator from another employee.
I've been asked to implement a way of updating work items through the use of email.

The users have even suggested they should be able to create work items that way also.

Having done some searching I can only really find something called JazzConnect-EMAIL from CM-Logic.

Before I pursue that further has anyone here done it before?
Have you used the tool from CM-Logic?

My users also want to sign off on approvals also which this tool claims to be able to do.

Appreciate any comments.
GP.

Yes, you found the EMail integration product. IBM will not provide one. I haven't seen any other provider try to enter this market.

yes, you can use approvals to move/prevent movement to different workflow states
