There is an option to both create a defect and link an existing defect to a Test Script step as seen in the screen shot below

Hi Ara, that is for creating a defect , but my question was on how to delink the defect from the test step.

If by mistake i create a defect or link to an existing defect , how to i delink it from this execution console , if my execution is midway.

I am aware we can delink from the test results , but for that i have to complete the execution.

I mis-read the question
I don't believe there is a way to remove the defect from the script step at run time once its been added; it needs to be removed from the corresponded result (as far as I know)
