how to display the "Submitter" in a query column?

We're currently using RTC 3.01. Is displaying the "Submitter" available in a later release?
I can specify the Submitter(s) in the query, but cannot display the value(s) in a column.

I have checked in RTC 4.0.5. There is no  "Submitter" (Contribution List)  attribute in OOTB scrum and JKE banking process.
When I added a new custom attribute (Contribution List), I can see the value in a query as you expect.
As a result, I can say when you upgrade to 4.0/5.0/6.0, you are able to select a
Contribution List attribute and see the value in a query. Does it resolve your concern?

As I said, I am not aware of that attribute. It could be a customization or it could be a template that comes from somewhere else. The submitter of a work item in RTC is the creator of it. If you want to track other sources, you would add a custom attribute.

I checked the RTC 6.0 latest release. It must be 'Created By' that I can select.

Thank you for the reply!..... however I cannot accept your answer, the "Created By" is a single value, where as "Submitter" is a multi-list field.

I have checked the attributes in the JKE Banking and Scrum and there is no attribute 'Submitter'. Is this attribute the custom attribute on your project area? Which process template are you using?

Yes, there is no such attribute that I would be aware of in any of the process templates that we ship.

How this "Submitter" attribute is displayed, depends basically on its type. If it is a custom contributor list, it should be sufficient to add it to the Column Display.

The snapshot above is done with 5.0.2 but I think contributor list attributes were possible to display earlier. I checked with 4.0.1 and you can define a custom contributor list and I would assume it to display. I don't have 3.0.2 installed any longer and can't say anything about that.

 Thank you for confirming, Raplh.

The "Submitter" (Contribution List) is from com.ibm.team.workitem.editor.default editor, out of the box. I tried to attach a screen shot, but have insufficient reputation.

I will install 4.x and test again. I'll post my findings.

Thanks!

As we already mentioned we are not aware of this attribute being in any of the out of the box templates. Look into the project area administration and check the template it originates from. What is the name of the template?

In the work item attributes section you can see what attributes are built in and what attributes are custom and what type they are.

You can upload your image to some other site to make it available and insert the link in your posts.
