RQM: Test suite execution record progress not getting updated with the test case execution record execution status.

 HI ,

I am using RQM (5.0,2) and I created a test suite and added the testcases to it.
I created  a test suite execution record(TSER) and then went ahead and started running testcases in random (not sequentially as listed under the Test case execution records . Now I went back to Test suite and selected this TSER and selected "Synchronize Test case execution records with Test suite execution records" , I didn't see the "Test Suite Execution (Record) Progress:" getting updated with the actual results.
Can someone please help me with this ? Am I not following any correct sequence?
I want to get the progress updated to show the number of testcases passes/ failed etc. Any help is much appreciated.

 Hi Akankhya,

You have to run the TSER itself which in turn will run TCERs associated. Only then, the "Test Suite Execution(Record) Progress" will get updated.

ok, so it means I have to run it from the TSER directly and not randomly.

Is there any way I can pull a report for the test suite execution record status-how many passed/failed in a TSER for a Test suite?

You can look at out of box BIRT reports under  Reports-> Shared reports->Execution. There are a few you will find useful like  "Test Case Results Details of Test Suite Results (Live)" ,  "Execution Status by Test Suite using TSER Count (Live)" etc.
