DNG propagate New Attribute

Mark Whalley (2125) | asked Oct 26 '15, 8:00 a.m.

If I edit an artefact type in DNG (5.2) to add a new attribute ... How do I know when all existing artefacts of that type have been 'updated' with the new attribute?

TIA

Mark

If you add a new attribute to an artefact type, then that attribute will exist immediately, with whatever default value (if any) you have assigned. However, these changes are not pushed to existing displays, so if you are already displaying artefacts of that type, then you will probably need to refresh to reload the artefacts and retrieve the attribute.

What does it mean "refresh to reload the artefacts and retrieve the attribute" ? Do you intend to F5 ?
