RDF URI uses and how can I add it in DNG?

Hello All,

I need to know the uses of RDF URI in DNG and how to add the same in the project area.
Scenario:

I need to add new custom attribute using the RDF URI functionality in ALM 6.0. I am aware that RDF URI is something exposing the artifact attribute or atrifacts to OSLC links.

How can I give the path in the text box to use the same?Do we need Jazz admin rights or normal Adminstration access is sufficient?

It would be helpful for me to have the knowledge about the complete steps on how to perform the same in project area in DNG.

Thanks.

This is the perfect example of a non-answer. The poster was clearly looking for any information on what an RDF URI is. It was a simple question.

Hello Donald,
Thanks. I am not sure whether I am missing something here. But what I really wanted to know is about adding new attributes or attribute types specifying the RDF URI.

E.g. for Description, the rdf uri is: http://purl.org/dc/terms/description Title:http://purl.org/dc/terms/title
Likewise, I want to create a custom attribute with data type as "String". What rdf uri should I give?

In the link for the document which you have sent describes only about few information about RDF URI.
Optional: Type a custom URI in the RDF URI field.

I need more information on this.

The first question to ask yourself is, why the need for the RDF URI? You don't need to specify the RDF URI if you are only interested in customizing data/attribute/artifact types, in most cases. The new types will be assigned with a URI by default.

Hello Donald,
I need to know how it can be specified and its uses. I would like to know more about the detailed uses of it and steps to use it.
Regards,
Shriraam

The existence of a feature is not the reason for using it. It's the other way round. Do you need to do something that requires this feature? If not, just don't use it.
