Generate PDF report for parts of a module

I want to be able to generate a PDF report for only specified elements of a module - not the total module. I thought that I could mark the ones I want to generate the report for and then generate report, but it will generate a report will the total content.

Can somebody help me on this?

If you have Rational Publishing Engine, you can create a custom PDF report for modules that accepts whatever parameters you want.  It's undocumented but there is a /views/ section to the RM REST API, it is what the stock RM module reports use; it gets back detailed data for the module.  We've hacked with that to create custom PDF reports for our modules; RPE reports can be added to RM through the filesystem so you can press Print or Report and use them.
