Task-Items view: expand children but hide them from top-leve

Michael Moser (1621) | asked Jul 27 '09, 4:27 a.m.
I have organized many task items into a parent/child relationship. What I would like to see, is that in the Work Items-view children items are expanded automatically and that child-items are NOT shown at the top-level of the tree.

Can one configure that somehow?

Hi Michael

Do you really mean in the Work Items view in the Eclipse UI, or in the Plan view. You can do this in the plan view (display as a Tree is an option - but it will not expand automatically as far as I can tell).

Could you add this as an enhancement request here pls - this is a good idea:

To extent Anthony's answer, the best you can do today is using the "expand all" button in the top left area of the plan.

No, I meant the eclipse UI.

OK - I did:

and

Have fun!
