Cannot drag work items to iteration plan

iris wang (662313) | asked Jul 22 '09, 4:46 p.m.
I created an iteration plan, opened it, then I want to drag one work item listed in the work item query view to the iteration plan view, but it seems that this cannot be performed. Besides, in version 1.0.1, we can select "group by" "sort by" etc, but I didn't find it in my version 2.0 jazz. Any idea about that? Thanks lots! :) Link of the snapshot of my operation:

Hi

Where are you trying to drag to? I have just tried this on 2.0 and can drag from the work item query results view to the person, or to a specific state (eg: To do).

It is possible you do not have permission to alter the plan? Check if your can see a "shadow" when you drag the work item up from the query, or that there is a different arrow as you drag on to the plan itself.

regarding "group by", "sort by" etc: specific settings are now stored as a view mode, which can be changed in the sidebar. of course you can always modify existing and create new view modes.
for a detailed discussion about the new plan features, please read http://jazz.net/library/article/197
