No hovering link shown after adding link to an object in a "diagram" artifact

Created a diagram (new in 6.0) artifact. Added a few objects. Added a requirement link to one of the object. Confirmed the link was saved as it shown in the overview pane. There is no hovering callout box shown on the diagram after everything is saved. Has anyone seen this problem?

Just to clarify, when you add a link, it's added to the artifact (diagram or not), and it should appear in the "Links" section (not "Overview"). There is no pop-up when you hover over the diagram. The only pop-up you will get is when viewing artifacts in a grid view, same as in previous versions.

In previous versions (old editor), elements in a diagram would offer a rich hover (similar to what you get when hovering a link in the content of a text in a textual artifact). The content of that pop up was not a "complete" rich hover window, but rather showed only the links associated to the element.

Thanks, Taly.

In older editor, elements will get a rich hover window when the element is getting focus (by moving the mouse over the element).  The links saved against the element will be shown in the rich hover,

In the new diagram (6.0 only) artifact, this behavior is different. There is no rich hover when an element is gaining focus.  Is it by design or a defect?

I can confirm the link were saved as I can see it from the right pane.

The new "Diagram" artifact format is not a direct replacement of the Visual Sketch in previous version, so they can behave differently. At this stage I don't think of a defect, as I can't find any references to the rich hover over the diagram.

As mentioned above, the new diagram editor does not display links when you hover over the diagram object as it did in the older graphical editors.  You have to look in the Links side bar to see the links.

If seeing the links in a hover instead is an important use case for you, I would suggest opening an enhancement.

@kgrotjohn - This can get very hard on a diagram with many elements and many links.

Also, in the use case where you need to assess traceability coverage between diagram elements and other artifacts, it gets very hard. Since there's no way to filter on such traceabiliy (right?), a visual check is the only option. With no indicator over the element and no hover, this visual check gets very prone to human error.
