Can't start the build engine

Olivier Martineau (61) | asked Nov 26 '07, 2:42 a.m.
Hello,

I'm a beginner with Jazz. I downloaded the application last week. After the installation on a Windows XP computer, I started the tutorial.
But, I have now a problem to start the build engine. I opened a command window and I executed the command :

jbe -repository http://localhost:9080/jazz/ -userId ADMIN -engineId Local-engine -sleepTime 1

Nothing happened : no message, only the command prompt after several seconds.
Could someone tell me if I did something wrong ?

Thanks,
Olivier

JAZZ DEVELOPER
Hello Olivier,
the same question was discussed last week in the forum and it seems that Ryan's answer solved the problem.
Please see "Can't start the build engine" on https://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=477

Hello Elisabeth,

you're right, the discussion on the last week topic has allowed me to solve my problem (I had a JVM 1.4 in my path).

Thanks a lot,

Olivier
