Where are the Project areas stored in in repository? I did the following:
I had my Project area in a repository. I could easily connect to the prject area in the repository.I then pointed to a different SQL Server datbase in teamserver.properties file and ran the repotools.Database creation was successful.
No other change were done.
After this I found that i could not find my project area in the repository.I could open the web UI but my project area was no more there. Are the project areas also get stored in the database?

Yes, they're stored in the database along with everything else.

Yes, the project area information is stored in the RTC repository (as is
almost everything in RTC), so if you are pointing at a different
database, you will only see the project areas in that database.

Cheers,
Geoff
