Why aren't users filtered on Lifecycle Project Admin Members page?

Hello,

I discovered this in the course of my daily work and share it here as a question and answer so others can benefit.

When I use the filter on the Lifecycle Project Administration Member's page, the table of members continues to show members who do not meet the filter.
For instance, I created Money That Matters sample, opened the Members page, and typed "m" in the Filter box. The user "Bob" continued to show up, along with other members who do not have "m" in their names. Is this a bug?

I'll explain in the answer to this question.

The Members page includes the process roles for each user when applying the filter. So, if a user has a name *or* a role that matches the filter, the user will appear in the members table with the filter applied.

In the case above, Bob (and others) had the Team Member role. Since this role name contains an "m", Bob continue to show in the table. Typing "my" in the filter removed Bob from the table. Typing "Team Member" in the filter showed Bob (and all of the other users, since all have the Team Member role).
