Matching Jazz Plain Java Client to server version

I assume that the version of the Jazz Plain Java Client must match the version of the RRC server it connects to. But it would be easy for an organization to upgrade RRC and forget to upgrade the Jazz Plain Java Client used for some integration.

Is there a way to programmatically test that the version of the server matches the version of the plain java client?
