Help - jazz is freezing - we are completely broken
![](http://jazz.net/_images/myphoto/96518750aa70c5f4794c5f074ac0dd93.jpg)
We have been running Jazz M3 just fine until today. If I try to accept
a change set into my workspace (tried two different workspaces) jazz
hangs. If I try to create a new workspace jazz hangs. If I try to
dliver an outgoing change jazz hangs. The hanging occurs on both OS X
and Windows clients. There are no entries in the server or client
logs. We are totally broken. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If necessary, I can get a developer access to our repository.

@localhost.localdomain:
For hangs, we need to figure out where the server is waiting.
If you are running on Tomcat in Windows, CTRL+Beak in the command prompt
window should generate the dump
Tomcat OSX - A kill -3 should do it no ?
For WebSpphere, I believe they have a script to do that
This will tell us exactly where it is waiting -
Also, the logs would help us understand if a previous issue caused this
behavior
Best way to send us the logs, attach them in Jazz.net :)

ohhh , dumb me, I realized the issue is on the client... :(
Ok, here is the trick to get java dump on Windows
Start the client like this: TeamConcert.exe -debug -console -consolelog
a Command prompt opens, notice if you have any error there
Then to get a java core dump, select the command prompt and hit CTRL+Break

Ok, I'll see if I can get the client core file and attach it to the defect.

When we issue the CRTL+Break, the core dump appears to go to the
console. How do we get that into a file?
