Hi,

I know that Internet Explorer v6 is not a supported browser and that
customers need to upgrade to Internet Explorer v7 or use Firefox.

But why can I access to jazz.net RTC Dashboard using IE v6 although is
not supported? Can I configure something to have IE v6 working with my
RTC 2.0 server although I know it is not officially supported?

Thanks,

Ana

Hi Ana

"Not supported" usually means that it has not been fully tested, or it does not work very well, or does not work at all.

I have customers using IE6 but they all switched to a more recent version of the browser because of errors. You don't need to turn anything on at the server. I recommend you keep away from IE6 if you can help it.

It MAY work but it is not guaranteed to work. Other examples: RTC 2.0 works well on IE8 but it is not supported and we definitely haven't tested fully on it.
